Blackberry Five-Spice Sauce

Yield: 2 1/2 cups (600 ml)
Ingredients
1/4 cup (60 ml) apple cider vinegar
3 cups (430 g) frozen blackberries, partially thawed
2 Tablespoons (30 ml) water
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
6 black peppercorns
1/4 cup (50 g) sugar
1/2 cup (120 ml) olive oil
Instructions
Place all ingredients, except olive oil, into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
Select Variable 1.
Turn on machine and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
Blend for 4 minutes or until heavy steam escapes from the vented lid.
Reduce speed to Variable 3 and remove the lid plug.
Slowly pour olive oil through the lid plug opening.
Blend an additional 20 seconds
