I’m notorious for putting quite obvious things on my to-do list, just so I can have the satisfaction of crossing them off. Shower? Done. Eat breakfast? Done.

Well, according to experts what really needs to be on our to-do list are things that we can easily accomplish in the day, prioritizing the most important things and taking off the things that truly can wait until tomorrow.

Want to give it a try?

  • Start your day with the things that HAVE to be done today, i.e. someone else is depending upon you to finish it, or there actually is a deadline.

  • Add in something fun to keep your mind fresh. A walk, exercise. Make your health your priority and make your priorities fun!

  • Be sure to not put too many little tasks on your to-do list. Doing the laundry, cleaning the house, and getting your typical 9-5 job done in the 9-5 time slot is not only not possible, it’s stress-causing!
