The New Orchid

In January, Fairmont Resorts & Hotels completed their renovation of their new property The Fairmont Orchid (formerly the Orchid at Mauna Lani).

The new outdoor spa features ten island-inspired outdoor massage hales nestled among soothing waterfalls, plus five beachside massage cabanas. The Willow Stream Spa (not to be completed until mid-2004) will focus on indigenous Hawaiian healing treatments as well as signature treatments found at Willow Stream Spas worldwide.

The dining venues have changed as well. The hotel has remodeled Brown’s Beach House grill and added a new Japanese restaurant, Norio’s Sushi Bar and  Restaurant.

Guests who prefer the ultimate in luxury should book a room on the Gold Floor—the top floor of the North Tower that features forty-five rooms and suites, an exclusive Gold Floor Lounge and outdoor lanai that offers complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening canapes.
