Sun Valley Wellness Festival

Wellness festivals generate inspiration, education, and mind/body/spirit transformation. The 9th Annual Sun Valley Wellness Festival in Sun Valley, Idaho, (held May 25–29) has for years been one of the world’s most varied and inspiring healing events due to its rich array of workshops. Featuring visionary artists and authors such as Alex and Allyson Grey (www.alexgrey.com), life coaches and best-selling human potential authors such as Gary Quinn (www.garyquinn.tv/), the Wellness Festival also showcased holistic medical experts such as Ellen Cutler, D.C. (www.bioset.net) in lectures and workshops.

In addition to various yoga and fitness workshops, the Wellness Festival carried a strong spiritual vibration. The guided meditation given by Tibetan monks from the Drepung Loseling Monastery at the Community Prayer Wheel in the Garden of Infinite Compassion at Ketchum’s Sawtooth Botanical Garden was a highlight of the event; so were their sand painting, musical and chanting performances.
